PT Summarecon Agung Tbk Distributed Dividend

Jakarta, 29/6/2001 - PT Summarecon Agung Tbk (PT SA) distributed to the shareholders cash dividend of Rp.25,- per share or a total of Rp. 8,52 billion.

After attending the Annual Stockholder Meeting at June 2001, Ir. Sunardi Rusli, President Director of PT SA Tbk, explained that the dividend is distributed because in the year 2000, the company has generated a net profit of 28,71 billion rupiah or Rp.84,- per share. Such profit is due to the increasing sales price and volume of residential and shophouses product on top of the increasing revenue from property investment division.

PT SA Tbk, one of the most prominent national residential developers, is located in the North Jakarta region. Since its establishment in 1976, its overall development area has grown from 10 ha to 500 ha. In this year's silver anniversary, SA has restated its commitment to the Real Estate business field. The management team is proud that the company has gone through 25 years prudently.

In the year 2001, SA has done several renovation projects including : Klub Kelapa Gading, Gading Food City, Summerville Apartment, in response to the improving economy situation, which growth is predicted by 2001 APBN to be around 3,5 percent.

He also added, "Klub Kelapa Gading with its sporting facility and the biggest banquet venue in North Jakarta is renovated to increase SA quality of service to its customers. While "Gading Food City", which is located in the Mal Kelapa Gading complex, now serves day and night different varieties of national and international food.

In the beginning of 2001, SA has settled all of its loans to IBRA, showing its commitment and effort to revitalize its financial flexibility.

The Annual Stockholder Meeting well accepted the performance of the Boards of Directors and Commissioners over the management and supervision of the company in 2000, and released an acquit et de charge to the Boards.
