St. Carolus Summarecon Serpong Hospital held the groundbreaking ceremony for the construction of its new building in the Summarecon Serpong area, Tangerang, on Monday, July 14, 2025. This event marked the beginning of the construction of a healthcare facility that will integrate humanitarian values, professionalism, and the latest medical technology. A blessing mass by RM Stanislaus Agus Suharyanto, OFM, initiated the ceremony, which was followed by the laying of the first stone by dr. Veronica Felnditi, MARS (Director of PT. Bakti Karya Vita), Mr. Simon Subrata (Chairman of the St. Carolus Association), Ir. Syarif Benyamin (Director of PT. Summarecon Agung), Drs. Sentrijanto (Yayasan Bentara Rakyat), and Sr. Marie Yose (Provincial of CB Sisters, Indonesian Province).
The hospital is being constructed on a strategic plot of land and will feature modern facilities and the latest medical technology, aiming to provide high-quality services to the communities of Tangerang and its surrounding areas. The construction project is scheduled for completion by the end of 2027 and is expected to become operational soon thereafter to serve the wider community. This initiative stands as a symbol of the synergy between humanitarian mission and innovation in healthcare services in Indonesia.
