Summarecon Serpong Mall (SMS) is once again holding its annual event, the Serpong Culinary Festival (FKS), which is now in its 12th year. This event is a testament to Summarecon's consistent commitment to promoting the rich diversity of Indonesian cuisine. The FKS 2024, taking place from August 15th to September 15th, 2024, at the SMS East Parking area, showcases the authentic and unique culinary delights of Medan, North Sumatra, under the tagline "Enak Kali Bah!”

Over 90 curated culinary vendors are set to participate in this year's FKS, bringing a wide range of authentic Medan cuisine to tantalize the taste buds. The event will feature popular local favorites such as Warkop Agam Medan, Putu Bambu Medan, Bakmi Wei Wei Siantar, RM. BPK Ola Kisat, Lontong Medan Bang Lubis 88, Lemang Srikaya Batok, Tahu Balik Khas Binjai, and Mie Sop Ayam Mesra Asli Siantar. Additionally, visitors can explore specialty food stalls offering Bolu Meranti. Beyond the culinary delights, FKS 2024 will also immerse visitors in the authentic atmosphere of Medan through decorations that replicate the iconic Maimun Palace.

To enhance the experience, this year's FKS also offers a variety of amusement rides, including a Ferris wheel, paratrooper, carousel, and more, available at prices starting from Rp30,000. In addition to culinary delights, visitors can enjoy a range of cultural performances such as music, dance, and traditional arts, as well as a roving orchestra. Special performances by renowned artists will also take place, featuring Andra & The Backbone on Thursday, August 15th at 7:30 PM, Rony Parulian on Sunday, August 25th at 7:30 PM, and Idgitaf on Sunday, September 1st at 7:30 PM. To cap off the festivities, spectacular fireworks displays will be held every Sunday at 8:00 PM.
