PT Summarecon Agung Tbk continues to expand its network of strategic partnerships to support innovation in various sectors, including railways. On September 28, 2024, coinciding with the 79th anniversary of PT Kereta Api Indonesia (KAI), Summarecon signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with KAI. This collaboration aims to develop potential innovations that support “Safety and Sustainability” in the railway industry, which has become an increasing priority in the modern era.

The MoU was signed by Summarecon's President Director, Adrianto P. Adhi, along with several senior KAI officials, including KAI's President Director, Didiek Hartyanto. This agreement demonstrates both companies' commitment to working together to provide solutions that prioritize not only safety but also sustainability in the future. In addition to Summarecon, four other national developers are also involved in this collaboration, which is expected to bring positive changes to Indonesia's public transportation industry.
