Pradita University has officially established a partnership with Ascott International Management Indonesia and Harris Hotel & Convention Serpong through the signing of a Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) on 19 June 2026. This collaboration marks a strategic step in strengthening industry-based learning through the living laboratory concept, while supporting the implementation of Outcome-Based Education (OBE), which focuses on developing students’ competencies in line with the demands of the professional workforce. The agreement was signed by Prof. Richardus Eko Indrajit, Rector of Pradita University, together with Albertha Sekundarti, Country Director of People & Culture of PT Ascott International Management Indonesia, and Lut Abader, General Manager of Harris Hotel & Convention Serpong. The signing ceremony was also witnessed by Aida Halim, Chairperson of the Pradita Indonesia Education Foundation.
The implementation of this partnership will begin in September 2026 at Harris Hotel & Convention Serpong. Through this collaboration, students of Pradita University’s Tourism Study Program will participate in the Integrated Learning program, which combines two weeks of on-campus theoretical learning with two weeks of hands-on industry experience over the course of two semesters. This program enables students to gain practical exposure to hotel operations while developing professional competencies from an early stage. The collaboration also reinforces Pradita University’s commitment as an enterprise university that bridges academia and industry, developing graduates who are well-prepared for the workforce and capable of adapting to evolving industry demands.
