50 Years of Summarecon: Free Cataract Surgery for Hundreds of Citizens
Welcoming its 50th Anniversary, PT Summarecon Agung Tbk (Summarecon) reaffirms its commitment to corporate social responsibility (CSR) through the Free Cataract Surgery Social Service program. This activity was conducted in partnership with the Tangerang Regency Government, St. Carolus Hospital Summarecon Serpong, Himpunan Bersatu Teguh, and Erha Clinic, driven by concern for the large number of underprivileged people at risk of losing their sight due to cataracts.
The Free Cataract Surgery Social Service program received an overwhelming welcome from the community, with over 600 registrants coming from various regions, ranging from Greater Jakarta (Jabodetabek) to other cities like Bandung, Tasikmalaya, Malang, and Medan. Following the health screening process on September 27, 2025, a total of 207 patients were declared eligible to undergo the free cataract surgery on October 4, 2025, at St. Carolus Hospital Summarecon Serpong.
