Welcoming its 50th Anniversary, PT Summarecon Agung Tbk (Summarecon) reaffirms its commitment to corporate social responsibility (CSR) through the Free Cataract Surgery Social Service program. This activity was conducted in partnership with the Tangerang Regency Government, St. Carolus Hospital Summarecon Serpong, Himpunan Bersatu Teguh, and Erha Clinic, driven by concern for the large number of underprivileged people at risk of losing their sight due to cataracts.

The Free Cataract Surgery Social Service program received an overwhelming welcome from the community, with over 600 registrants coming from various regions, ranging from Greater Jakarta (Jabodetabek) to other cities like Bandung, Tasikmalaya, Malang, and Medan. Following the health screening process on September 27, 2025, a total of 207 patients were declared eligible to undergo the free cataract surgery on October 4, 2025, at St. Carolus Hospital Summarecon Serpong. 

This program aligns with Summarecon's 50-year journey, which focuses not only on area development but also on improving the quality of life for the community. Through this spirit of giving during a special company milestone, Summarecon hopes 

The districts of East Bekasi, North Bekasi, South Bekasi, Medan Satria, Jatiasih, Pondok Gede, Bantar Gebang, and Rawalumbu were the areas affected by the flood that hit Bekasi on Tuesday, March 4, 2025. As a form of concern and social responsibility towards residents affected by the flood, Summarecon Bekasi carried out a clean-up action on March 6-8, 2025. The clean-up action involved Summarecon Bekasi Town Management who cleaned five schools, one police office, and one temple that were submerged in flood and muddy.

Responding to the flood disaster on February 11, 2025 that hit Katimbang Village, Biringkanaya District, Makassar, South Sulawesi, Summarecon Mutiara Makassar took the initiative to show concern by providing assistance to ease the suffering of the victims. A total of 150 basic food packages consisting of rice, granulated sugar, cooking oil, tea, and instant noodles were distributed on February 17, 2025.

Summarecon Bogor provides assistance in the form of basic food packages to children with stunting and pregnant women from November 28, 2024 to April 2025. This assistance is distributed in five villages around Summarecon Bogor, namely Cibanon, Nagrak, Sukatani, Gunung Geulis, and Sukaraja Villages, with a total of 1,024 packages including rice, eggs, milk, and vitamins. Of that number, 432 packages are intended for stunted children and 592 packages for pregnant women. This activity is an implementation of Summarecon's core values CARING, "Care". This activity is also a program in celebrating Summarecon's 49th anniversary.

Summarecon continues to play an active role in protecting the environment, one of which is by collaborating with the Buddhist Tzu Chi Foundation to carry out environmental preservation activities. Through this environmental preservation activity, the public is also invited to participate, from donating recycled goods to sorting plastic bottles. 

Similar activities have been carried out since 2018 at Kelapa Gading Jogging Park, Summarecon Mall Serpong, and Summarecon Mall Bekasi. Now Summarecon Mall Bandung (SUMMABA) is also taking part in implementing it from February 2024 to September 2024. The volunteers who attended this activity have succeeded in sorting plastic and paper waste totaling 358 kilograms for recycling needs. This activity is located in the parking area of Sinpasa Market Summarecon Mall Bandung from 07.00 - 11.00 WIB. 

Environmental preservation activities also continue to be held routinely on the third week of every month on Saturdays at Kelapa Gading Jogging Park and Sinpasa Market Summarecon Mall Serpong as well as on Sundays at Le Terazza Summarecon Mall Bekasi.

Summarecon's commitment to supporting the education continues to be implemented, one of which is through providing scholarships which have been implemented since 2003.
The symbolic scholarship awarding was held on Thursday, October 3 2024 at the Kelapa Gading Club, Jakarta. This scholarship is divided into two categories, namely the Summarecon Employee Children's Scholarship (SINAR) for 351 students for vocational/high school, D3 and S1 levels and the Summarecon Employee Enhancement Scholarship (BISA) for 45 employees for D4, S1 and S2 levels.
At the scholarship handover event, the participants received a sharing about "The Power of Growth Mindset" facilitated by Tsalitsa Haura Syarifah, M.Psi., from Bank BTPN and a sharing on "The Beauty of Sharing through a Bamboo Bank" by Corporate Culture and Social Responsibility. Through this opportunity, participants were invited to share their happiness by pouring together a bamboo bank.

In order to support education, Summarecon Serpong distributed school equipment to outstanding students on Saturday, August 31 2024 at Pradita University, Summarecon Serpong.
School equipment assistance was provided to 168 outstanding elementary school (SD) students in grades 4-6 in the Summareon Serpong area. Some schools include SDN 1 Rancagong, SDN Cihuni III, SDN Cijantra I, SDN Cijantra III, MI Mathalul Huda Cijantra, MI Matlahul Huda Rancagong, MIN 5 Legok, and MI Nurul Falah Cihuni.
Not only did receive school equipment, the students also received sharing about "Managing Emotions to Achieve Dreams" from Cordelia Agatha as Head of HR & GA Summarecon Serpong.

Welcoming Eid al-Fitr 1445 Hijriah, on April 3-9 2024 PT Summarecon Agung, Tbk through the Summarecon Peduli Foundation distributed 5,920 distribution of basic necessities packages. This distribution of basic necessities was given to residents around the Summarecon area such as Kelapa Gading, Serpong, Bekasi, Bogor, Karawang, Bandung and Makassar. This distribution of basic necessities is one of the annual CSR activities and is a form of concern for residents in the Summarecon area.

On February 21 2024, a tornado hit the Rancaekek and Jatinangor areas, Bandung Regency. Hundreds of families were affected by this tornado.

As a form of empathy, on March 2 2024 Summarecon Peduli volunteers from the Summarecon Mall Bandung (SUMMABA) and Summarecon Bandung provided assistance to a number of affected residents.

SUMMABA tenants Rambla and Happy Harvest Supermarket, were also involved in this activity. After conducting a survey, as many as 334 residents of Cinta Mulya Village RW 03, 04, 08, and RW 10, Kec. Jatinangor Regency Sumedang, West Java received basic food assistance. Apart from that, assistance for mosque renovation funds was also provided to mosque administrators located in the area.

Through Master Cheng Yen's contemplation "Hands that do environmental preservation are the most beautiful hands", we are all invited to always be passionate about protecting our environment. From these words of contemplation, Summarecon Peduli and Tzu Chi volunteers collaborate through environmental conservation activities which are routinely held every month on Sundays on the 3rd 

After being stopped due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the relationship of love through Tuang Bersama Celengan Bambu was again held at 3 Summarecon malls.

Offline event have been held since September 2022 on the first week at Summarecon Mall Kelapa Gading, the second week at Summarecon Mall Serpong, and the third week at Summarecon Mall Bekasi. This routine event will be carried out every odd month on Friday and Saturday at 13.00 PM  – 21.00 PM.

Summarecon Bandung provided assistance in the form of donations of education funds and school equipment to all elementary, middle, and high school students in RW 03 Gedebage Wetan and RW 04 Rancapacing Kel. Cisaranten Kidul.

The event took place from 09.00 AM to 12.00 PM, starting with a ceremony for handing over the aid and continued with giving donations to 420 students from RW 03 and RW 04 Kel. Ciskid who was accompanied by 325 companions. The series of events were the result of a collaboration between Summarecon Peduli volunteers, the local residents and Karang Taruna team.

PT Summarecon Agung, Tbk through the Summarecon Peduli Foundation and Summarecon Bekasi Town Management together with residents of Summarecon Bekasi also provided assistance to residents affected by the Cianjur earthquake.

As many as 80 volunteers went directly to Cianjur to provide assistance in the form of 250 basic food packages, cooking utensils, milk, biscuits, medicines and clothing needs such as clothes, towels, baby diapers, blankets, and five units of tents on Sunday, December 3 2022. Not only that, health service assistance from the Harapan Mulya Health Center in Bekasi City was also provided to 237 residents. The assistance was given to residents in RT 03/RW 09 Cisarandi Village, RT 02/RW 01 Cikaroya Village, and RT 02, 03, 05, 06 RW 03 Cikaroya Village, Warung Kondang District.

On Saturday, April 17, 2021, Summarecon Peduli volunteers through the Summarecon Bandung unit and the Buddhist Tzu Chi Indonesia Foundation provided social assistance for the residents of Gedebage District in Bandung City during the Covid-19.

The volunteers were sending out many packages containing rice and masks to sub-districts and representatives' houses of RT RW neighborhoods. Hopefully, the social assistance can help residents that are affected by the Covid-19 outbreak, especially around the Summarecon Bandung area.

Feeling grief and deep concern for the victims of flood disaster that occurred in Jakarta, Bekasi, Tangerang and surrounding areas. This prompted PT Summarecon Agung Tbk., through the Summarecon Peduli Foundation to take part in helping flood victims by carrying out the Distribution of Basic Needs Assistance Activities for flood victims in Jakarta and Bekasi.

Keeping the earth and its environment is a joint effort that must be carried out by the whole community. This requires understanding by everyone in order to understand the importance and play an active role in protecting the environment. Through the Yayasan Buddha Tzu Chi with a vision to protect the earth, the community is given the means to participate in environmental conservation activities.

One of these activities was carried out by the Yayasan Buddha Tzu Chi in collaboration with Summarecon Mall Bekasi (SMB) since last August 2018. Every Sunday morning located in La Terrazza, Summarecon Bekasi, the volunteers sort plastic and paper waste for recycling needs. This positive activity certainly attracted the attention of the people who were participating in the car free day to participate. For the enthusiasm of the residents, this activity continues to be held regularly every month.

Feeling grief and deep concern for the victims of Tsunami that occurred in Pandeglang, Serang, Banten, to South Lampung, Summarecon Serpong invited all Summarecon’s residents to take part in doing a real action by attend personally to the area to provide helps.

After earlier on December 30, 2018, Summarecon Serpong with all its residents held a second social service on January 12, 2019 to channel the assistance of all Summarecon’s residents and extended family to the disaster area, Sumberjaya Village, Sumur District, Pandeglang, Banten and distributed to more than 400 family.

Summarecon helps the victims by giving some aid in the form of cash, used clothes, raw food ingredients and ready to eat meal, baby food, toiletries, medicines, blankets, mattresses and elementary school equipment such as uniforms, stationery and books. Summarecon also conduct to raise aid that channeled through the Indonesian Buddhist, Tzu Chi Foundation.

PT Summarecon Agung Tbk., Through the Foundation of Summarecon Peduli proves its commitment to help build the nation by strengthening the people`s economy through empowerment of micro, small and medium enterprises (UMKM). In an event held on Saturday, April 28, 2018, at Jogging Park 1, Summarecon Kelapa Gading, Summarecon Peduli handover noodle carts to prospective small entrepreneurs who have passed several stages of selection. The symbolic handover of 39 UMKM Carriers Summarecon Peduli was conducted by the Director of Summarecon, Liliawati Rahardjo, accompanied by the board of directors and commissioners Summarecon, Lukman Samsuddin and Rusli Gunawan who is the President Director and Deputy Director of PT. Duta Anugerah Abadi Indonesia Boga, and also attended by representatives of Yayasan Buddha Tzu Chi, also representatives from the government. The carts were given to residents of four sub-districts in North Jakarta and East Jakarta, namely Kelapa Gading, Pulo Gadung, Cilincing and Koja Sub-districts.

This annual CSR activity is the manifestation of concern to the people around the area of Summarecon in order to welcome the feast day of Eid Al-Adha. Distribution is given on 28-30 August 2017 to the residents around the area of Summarecon in Jakarta, Bekasi, Serpong, Bandung, etc.

This event is a manifestation of concern for Young Generation Education in order to commemorate “Children's Book Day". Donations from Employees reach over 1400 storybooks and 2,500 educational tools. The recepients is free schools in Bandung and Jakarta.

This is annualy global environmental preservation Movement for electricity saving and environmental conservation. The activity is to turn off the electricity for 1 hour (20.30-21.30). 

In an effort to run a regular program of Corporate Social Responsibility, PT Summarecon Agung Tbk., through Summarecon Peduli Foundation organized a Charity Market and Bazaar. In this activity was the sale of basic commodities package at affordable price. The activity was held for two days, on Saturday, January 21, 2017 starting at 09:00 to 12:00 pm and on Sunday, January 22, 2017, starting at 07:00 to 12:00 in the Jogging Park, Summarecon Kelapa Gading.

A total of 10 thousand packages of basic commodities offered to citizens, and each package consists of 5 kg of rice, 4 liters of cooking oil, 1 kg sugar, instant coffee, and bottled chili sauce. This package can be purchased at a price of IDR 100.000. Adrianto P. Adhi as President Director of Summarecon explained, "The package price is far below the market price, and the difference between the selling prices is paid by Summarecon as a contribution to the people in need".

In addition to the Charity Market, Summarecon Peduli Foundation and Summarecon employees also make donations to earthquake victims in Aceh Province. A donation by Yayasan Peduli Summarecon is worth IDR 1 billion and the total donation of all Summarecon employees is worth IDR 100 million. The entire donation was given to the victims through Buddha Tzu Chi Indonesia Foundation. In addition, donations also came from Summarecon Mal Kelapa Gading’s (MKG) tenants, namely Star Department Store including brands that participate in it are Sorella Group, Cynthia, Sebastiano Capello, Salt N Pepper, De Carlo, Wacoal, Tefal, Fiorenza, and C & F, also MKG’s anchor tenant, Farmers Market.
