One of the sports retail companies from France, Decathlon, has officially opened its outlets in Summarecon Bekasi. Before the Grand Opening, Decathlon Summarecon Bekasi held an Open House on December 13, 2018 which invited the media and other guests to introduce their best sports products. The event was also attended by French Ambassador to Indonesia Jean-Charles Berthonnet and Deputy Mayor of Bekasi Tri Ardhianto.

In the framework of the Grand Opening, on December 15, 2018 Decathlon Summarecon Bekasi has been held a 5K Fun Run event, with the theme "Be Your Sport Hero". The Fun Run event was attended by more than 1,500 runners who traced the 5 km route around the Summarecon Bekasi area. With a registration fee of IDR 50K, participants will get a racepack containing running bib, finisher medal, refreshments, & Arpenaz Bag 10L. On December 16, 2018, which was the 2nd day of the Grand Opening, Decathlon Summarecon Bekasi held a Zumba Fiesta event in the Decathlon Summarecon Bekasi area and the CFD area of Summarecon Bekasi which was attended by hundreds of Bekasi people.
