In celebrating the 78th Indonesian Independence Day, Summarecon Mall Bekasi presents a series of events including bazaars, shopping programs, music entertainment, parades and special 17th competition entitled "AUGUST RUSH", which takes place from 3 - 27 August 2023.

For the first time, August Rush presenting the thematic bazaar called "Pesta Rakyat" which took place from August 11 - 20, 2023, at Bekasi Food City (BFC). Enlivened with a total of 12 booths, visitors can shop for various types of snack menus from Jaja Doelan (known as a seller of Indonesian traditional snacks), Sate Taican Bon-Bon, Serabi Durian F1, Mangan Steak Mantep and many more. Beside that, visitors also can shop from Bekasi Ecoprint Club, which sells fashion made from eco-friendly traditional products and Aurora which sells various arts & crafts.

Accompanying the evening ambiance in August, Summarecon Mall Bekasi presents popular singer Dikta Wicaksono, who will appear on the main stage of The Downtown Walk on Friday, August 18, 2023.
