PT Summarecon Agung Tbk. officially inaugurated Summarecon Mall Bekasi Phase 2 (SMB 2) on 4 February 2026. The inauguration was marked by a symbolic LED torch handover ceremony conducted by the Assistant for Economic and Development Affairs of West Java Province, H. Sumasna, ST., representing the Governor of West Java, together with Summarecon’s President Commissioner Soetjipto Nagaria, President Director Adrianto P. Adhi, Managing Director Herman Nagaria, and Director Soegianto Nagaria. This opening signifies the continued development of Summarecon Mall Bekasi as the largest shopping mall in Bekasi City and the first in Indonesia to introduce a Rooftop Sports & Wellness Center concept.

Developed on a 47,000 m² site with a total building area of 87,000 m² and directly connected to Summarecon Mall Bekasi Phase 1, SMB 2 adopts an experience-based mall concept that integrates shopping, dining, and active lifestyle offerings within a single destination. One of its key highlights is WELLGROUND, a Sports & Wellness Center located on the rooftop, spanning 17,587 m² and featuring premium fitness and wellness facilities. With a total Net Leasable Area of 125,000 m² and more than 500 international and local tenants, Summarecon Mall Bekasi Phase 2 is expected to further enhance the area’s appeal, stimulate economic growth, and reinforce Summarecon Bekasi’s position as a Lifestyle Destination City.
